Wardrobe Wednesdays: Liza from Younger‘s Season 2 Premiere

Liza from Younger's Season 2 Premiere

It’s always entertaining to see how the fashion department on the set of TV Land’s Younger decide to dress 40-year-old Liza Miller (played by Sutton Foster) to have her look as if she were a millennial.

Season 2 of the show premiered last week, and I couldn’t resist featuring some of Liza’s style for this Wardrobe Wednesdays post. I’m particularly fond of this look, because as a fellow millennial in the publishing/editorial world, I sometimes go to work dressed like this.

She wears a very laid back look with a screen tee featuring a pencil-sketched bird, blue boot-cut jeans and a pair of coffee-colored boots. I actually had to watch some of the episode all over again just to catch her footwear!

Liza’s look is professionalized with a black vest/waistcoat, giving her boss no reason to suspect her real age. I mean, come on, what 40-year-old has time to find the perfect screen tee for a waistcoat?

Below are some items similar to what Liza is wearing in the episode.

Shirt:

1. Redbubble, $23.34

2. Redbubble, $22.40

Jeans:

3. Guess, $44.50 (on sale, reg. $89.00)

4. H&M, $39.99

Vest:

5. Amazon, $18.30-$33.95

6. Amazon, $9.99

Boots:

7. ShoeMall.com, $29.99

8. rag & bone, $265.00

Don’t forget to catch Younger tonight at 10pm on TV Land!

Wardrobe Wednesdays: Hilary Duff on Set of ‘Younger’ and Yerdle Review

SPONSORED*
Hilary Duff on Set of 'Younger'

Today’s Wardobe Wednesdays is sponsored by Yerdle through PINCHme.*

Hilary Duff was definitely looking holiday glam while on the set of Younger in New York City last week.

I can’t be the only one thinking she looks like a fun disco ball with this sheer sequined top and leather pants. The red heels give this look just the right amount of color without going overboard. If Mr. and Mrs. Claus had a female assistant that was not an elf, this should be their uniform.

All of the original items (marked with *) are still in stock for those of you eyeing these pieces for an upcoming laid back holiday party. I’ve also listed some alternatives below.

Top:

1. Nordstrom, $330.00*

2. John Lewis, £68.00 (approx. $103.15 USD)

Pants:

3. Shopbop, $1,098.00 *

4. Macy’s, $21.99

Heels:

5. Saks Fifth Avenue, $895.00 *

6. Urbanog, $42.70

A few weeks ago I was introduced to Yerdle by PINCHme. Yerdle is like an online thrift store where you can give and receive items for free. All you have to pay is shipping if your item requires it.

Users get Yerdle dollars when they give stuff away, kind of like credits for a good deed. Just snap a pic of an item you don’t want and post it to get started.

I myself simply wanted to try getting a product through Yerdle, so when I saw this set of necklaces and rings for $5 I couldn’t resist.

The package came quickly, and the jewelry was just as pictured.  yerdle set

Disregard my chipped nail polish…

One of the necklaces has a cool bird on it, the other is a geometric triangular pattern, and one ring is plain silver while the other looks like an animal print. What’s particularly interesting about the animal print ring is the fact that they’re three rings stuck together,

I’m quite pleased, and would totally get another product on Yerdle. People give away loads of stuff like shoes, headphones, and decorative items for your home. I might also upload some things to give away soon.

If you’d like to try Yerdle yourself, use my link to sign up and receive some extra Yerdle dollars! https://yerdle.com/i/dana-gibbs
