National Hispanic Heritage Month began today, September 15! To celebrate, I’ll be posting fan art of Hispanic/Latino celebs all month long.
First up is actress Roselyn Sanchez. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
I absolutely loved her as Carmen Luna on Devious Maids. Her character is basically like the one friend you need in your girl group to keep the gossip interesting.
Roselyn Sanchez is expecting a baby soon, and she just released a children’s book earlier this month called Sebi and the Land of Cha Cha Cha.
Enjoy this digital fan art I found of the actress over on Deviant Art by Ghanaian artist luxuryzz (Denzel Oduro).
He captured her smolder so well!
See the original fan art here.
This week we learned that Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting their third child, so I just HAVE to feature the royal couple for this week’s Fan Art Fridays!
Obviously I’m excited about this news, but some Brits aren’t
To celebrate, I found this life-like portrait of Will and Kate over on Deviant Art. Created by Soul of David (David Tercias) the digital piece was inspired by this photo of the two.
I just can’t get over how much hair William has lost since they started having children. Look at how full his hair was back then!

Looks like this misery might actually end for sure in 2020.
This week, our favorite rock, Dwayne Johnson, gave us all some hope during a GQ interview and while on Jimmy Fallon’s show when he said he’d consider running for president in the upcoming election.
If anyone can save us from the disaster and woes that the Trump Administration has brought upon us, it’s Mr. Johnson. He’s a strong man with a kind heart.
In celebration of the possibility that The Rock might be our next president, let’s admire this cool fan art I found of the actor on Deviant Art by theSinchan. I’m really digging the patriotism on the t-shirt.

Paramore is back with some new music this week!
Their new song and music video “Hard Times” was released on Wednesdays, and Paramore fans are super stoked. So many things have changed about the band since their self-titled album came out in 2013. Hayley Williams got married, she died her hair blonde (loving it!), Zac Farro left for his solo project HalfNoise, and now he’s back!
So much excitement going on here!
In honor of this, enjoy a piece of Paramore fan art I found on Deviant Art by KoRniszonka. It features a 2012 version of the band, which included Hayley, Jeremy, and Taylor.
Oh, how times have changed.
Be sure to check out the original fan art on Deviant Art and watch “Hard Times” below!
Since the Easter bunny is taking over this weekend, I thought it might be nice to give a different rabbit, or should I say Rabbids, some attention before then.
Rabbids are the French alien-rabbit stars of Nickelodeon’s Rabbids Invasion. They’re super weird and they get into all sorts of trouble, making them hilarious to watch.
Enjoy this fun piece of fan art by bschulze of a seemingly confused Rabbid staring down at a rabbit. Found on Deviant Art, I love how simple and witty this piece is!
Check out one of my fave scenes from Rabbids Invasion:
Or should I say Emma Stone and Jacob Staudenmaier?!
Promposal season seems to be off to a delightful start after Ryan Gosling’s doppelganger Jacob Staudenmaier asked Emma Stone to prom with a delightful La La Land inspired proposal.
Sadly, she won’t be able to go with Jacob Staudenmaier due to prior engagements in London, as she explained to him in a letter. She lessened the blow by adding “P.S. I do see Gosling around the eyes.”
Let’s just pretend this La La Land Golden Globes moment captured in cartoon form by Daniel Kordek (daekazu) over on Deviant Art is actually of Emma Stone and Jacob Staudenmaier. How amazing are those eyes?!
See more of Daniel Kordek’s work.
Meryl Streep won the DeMille Award at the Golden Globes this year, and boy, was that one hell of an acceptance speech or what?!
I’ve loved Meryl in basically every movie I’ve seen her in, from Doubt to It’s Complicated. She’s timeless, and gives life to every character she plays.
In honor of her achievement, I’ve decided to feature this fan art of her from DeviantArt by Miko2660. She looks quite young in this piece of fan art, perhaps from the late ’70s. It was created using ArtStuido.
I love how she’s looking up in the piece, as if she’s in a state of utter bliss. Her hair also looks so wispy!
