Managed to do a little bit of junk journaling during these two busy summer months of July and August while also working on other projects!  One of these projects includes a mini junk journal that I received in a happy mail swap and another will be featured an an upcoming craft show. Excited to share that with you all soon!

Fourth of July (America 250)

So much junk from the long 4th of July weekend on the Eastern Shore! I think next time I’ll do one page per day/activity in my journal for trips like this. It was so overwhelming to keep the artistic vision of the page on the left while cramming all the scraps and photos onto the right side of the spread. I have been hoarding this rainbow colored Synergy kombucha label with “Love” written in fun handwriting font on it for months because I knew I really wanted to use it on a Pride junk journal page. The page also includes a menu from Cote Wine Bar in the Bronx and some items I got in happy mail RAKs.

Juneteenth

Went to a very insightful Juneteenth gathering in Manhattan with my friend Karina! She gave me a lovely lip mask from Sephora as a birthday gift and I treated her to a steak at the Yotel rooftoop restaurant. The next day I checked out Hobby Lobby downtown for the first time ever.

Orchard Beach & City Island Day Trip

This trip ended in a fender bender but I left that off the journal page for everyone’s sanity.

Fordham University PMMA Meetup

Went to BLICK after work one afternoon to pick up some supplies and then met up with some of my former classmates at Hidden Lane Bar in Manhattan.

Smorgasburg Williamsburg

Finally got around to doing this Smorgasburg page from the spring! So delish and so much fun.

Summer Staycation 2026

Took my dog, Coco, to the vet for a dental cleaning during my summer staycation and found this cute coloring page at Petsmart that I couldn’t resist adding as a background. Got Coco a Halloween toy for being such a good girlie during her visit.
