Could be New York, maybe Hollywood and Vine …

For Labor Day in California, we spent some time on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I wanted to find Sandra Bullock’s star but my parents and aunt got tired of walking before we were anywhere close.

And then I was teased with a glimpse of the Hollywood sign on the way back to the car. I still can’t believe I didn’t get to go up there 😥

Then we had a somewhat failed attempt in the Hollywood Hills at the Wattles Park and Mansion. Since it was a holiday, it was locked but the gardens were open.

We also saw a pomegranate tree. My mom picked one, and we didn’t actually open it until two days later. (It didn’t taste very well).

When we got back to the hotel we came to the conclusion that we deserved a bit of pool time.

There was a cute kitty near the deeper end when we got there. I scared it away by getting too close with my phone.

The water was too cold for me, so I settled with just dipping my feet in.
