Over the weekend I attended Her Conference 2016 at Old Slip in the Financial District of NYC. The building is super lavish, complete with auditorium space, conference rooms, and a dining hall.

At check in, I noticed these rectangular blocks of abstract art lined up in an interesting pattern on the wall. They all seem to follow the rule of thirds, with each painting pulling your attention upward diagonally from the bottom right to the top left.

I found the three with the red dots on them most appealing.
