The snow decided to chill in March (thank goodness), so I didn’t have as much time locked indoors to work on junk journal pages and spreads. I also spent a week recovering from my first time trying reformer pilates, which cut out a lot of junk journaling time as I could barely open a marker with my ripped-up muscles.
However, I did do a few fun ones that I wanted to share. Let’s have a look!
Pi Day
This Pi Day junk journal page was so fun to make! I incorporated vintage Food & Wine magazines for the pies (free Nextdoor find) and some cute handmade strawberry picnic paper from my Brazilian pen pal. And no, I never finished filling the guest check with digits of pi 🤣😅😂
St. Patrick’s Day
Did a little bit of memory keeping on my St. Patrick’s Day page with a photo of the Headless Horseman at the parade in Sleepy Hollow (taken from inside Beekman Alehouse), and my lunch receipt from the weekend’s festivities. This page also includes a St. Patrick’s Day postcard and tag swap from a junk journal friend.
Women’s History Month/International Women’s Day Weekend
I spent International Women’s Day weekend in Brooklyn, so this year’s Women’s History page documents two days of exploring the borough with my future sister-in-law, brunch with friends, and a reformer pilates class that had me out of commission for 5+ days.
What junk journal spreads are you working on? I’m going to be taking a time machine to finish up some junk journal pages from 2025 these next few weeks.
Are you also junk journaling last year’s happenings while trying to stay on to of current events? Let me know in the comments!
