If you follow me over on TikTok, you’ll know that I’ve been working on a Christmas junk journal. It’s my first time making a journal from scratch and documenting the holidays in a Christmas themed journal. For some reason I decided to not include my Spotify Wrapped in said Christmas journal but instead add it to the music themed one that I was supposed to start in the fall.
I won this journal at a ShopARL popup back in January 2025 (thanks Amanda Rachel Lee!). The reason I didn’t start it in the fall as I’d planned is because it rained the entire second day at Oceans Calling Festival, which was supposed to be the first event in the journal. I wanted to get a cute photo of me in my festival outfit on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland fot intro page and use the first spread to document the performances I loved. Instead, the rain destroyed my Adidas and I only got photos of myself in my hooded rain jacket (storytime coming soon along with the spread in my regular memory keeping journal once it’s done).
ANYWAY, enough of my babbling–enjoy my Spotify Wrapped spread in my new music junk journal!

I cannot stop laughing at the fact that the Jonas Brothers shows up twice in my top albums because I listened to the main LP as well as the deluxe edition. 🤣 I highlighted that with my new Grabbie erasable pens because I was too scared to smudge the ink with a real highlighter marker.
Glad Spotify thinks I’m a whole decade younger than I actually am. Some people got some really crazy old listening age results just for jamming out to anything released earlier than the 2010 which is nuts.
I wasn’t surprised at all the Indie stats and the day I listened to a bunch of Vampire Weekend (I’m pretty sure I was still coming off the high of seeing them perform at Oceans Calling). Looks like I went back to my R&B roots with SZA’s BMF as my top song. I NEED to see LEISURE live because their music always makes it onto my “Best of” playlists at the end of the year.
As for podcasts, shout out to Austen Tosone at Create & Consume! I’ve only ever met her in person once during NYFW in 2019 but I’ve followed her content since the early years of this blog and it’s so nice to have someone to relate to as the content creator space is drastically changing. She also inserts some fun pop culture episodes which I love.
Herby House by Qveen Herby and her husband Nick Noonan will always be a go-to for me when I need something other than music to listen to while I craft. Smosh snuck into this list because of all my road trips with my husband, during which we listen to them react to crazy Reddit stories.
I feel like Taylor Swift and Tame Impala would have made it into my Wrapped stats if their albums were released earlier in the year.
None of this spread features certified junk since I just printed out my Spotify Wrapped stats and added multicolored patterned scrapbooking paper to match all the retro patterns and colors on the infographics.
The layout structure was inspired by CHEY. I don’t usually do full junk journal spreads in books this small so I’m glad I saw her video to help me figure out how to maximize the space with all the Wrapped stats.
Embellishments are all stickers from my new Rose Mansion sticker book, Dollar Tree, a Lofi Girl set from Five Below, a music themed pack that I picked up from Walmart in Maryland after Ocean’s Calling in September, and a few puffy ones I got in a swap.
I will be going back to decorate the intro page of this music junk journal soon so stay tuned!
