Mid-Summer 2018 Foreigners Playlist

As many of you guys know, I love listening to music by artists from different countries around the world. Therefore, I had a fun idea that should make a cool playlist featuring a few awesome tunes by my favorite international artists this summer.

It’ll be like a little vacation for your ears!

Some of these are by artists from non-English speaking countries that sing in English (you’ll be able to hear some of the accents). Others are in foreign languages.

Enjoy the tracks below from my favorite foreigners.

1. Jamaica/UK – Bad Love ft. Ellie Goulding, Sean Paul. Wasting no time getting down with this one.

2. Greece – A State Nearby, NTEIBNT ft. Σtella. Sending chills down your spine with these ominous vocals.

3. Sweden – Hotel Beds, Summer Heart. Here’s to all the comfy hotel beds we’ll be hopping into this summer.

4. Zimbabwe – Juice, Bantu. Drink up.

5. Barbados – Only Girl (In the World), Rihanna. The Caribbean queen demands your undivided attention.

6. Panamá/Jamaica – Dame Tu Cosita, El Chombo ft. Cutty Ranks. This calls for a dance session in the mirror.

7. Austria – Mambo Rap, Parov Stelar. Try to keep up with the lyrics.

8. France – Science Fiction, Christine and the Queens. Feast your ears on the French version of this tune with a dash of Italian.

9. Spain – Pienso En Tu Mirá, ROSALÍA. Time for some Spanish telenovela-esque BAMF drama.

10. Brazil – La Edad Del Futuro, Glue Trip. Don’t let the Spanish title fool you.

11. Australia – Chateau, Angus and Julia Stone. Summers + chateaus = fancy bliss.

12. Germany – So Into You, Wilhelm Tell Me. Cruising into this summer love real smooth.

13. Malaysia – Rescue, Yuna. There’s no way you can feel anything but safe and tranquil while listening to Yuna’s voice.

14. Canada – We Were Here, LIGHTS ft. DCF & Gray Grey. Got a double Canadian feature here (singer and remixers)!

15. Denmark – Calabria, Enur ft. Natasja. Close out the summer with this dance party favorite!

Bask in the rest of your summer!

  1. Thank you! I’ve been looking for some new music! I’m liking “Juice” and “Pienso En Tu Mirá.” I knew I’d heard “Calabria” before; it turns out it was in a Target ad from 10 years ago!

  2. This is such a cool idea! And I love the song choices.
