Halle Bailey was a vision in Pantone 2026 Color of the Year Cloud Dancer white at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting this past week. 

She sang “Favorite Things,” which is funny because so many people are complaining about Pantone’s Color of the Year being one of their least favorite things.

I’m just going to choose to remind myself that white is the presence of all color, not the absence of it (hate the misnomer) as Halle Bailey made us realize during her performance.

Her ensemble was styled by Nichole Good. I wonder how far in advance this wardrobe choice was planned.

I can totally see this white gown and puffy sleeve cape combo being a wedding trend for 2026-2027. Wedding color palettes will probably also skew toward subtle metallic tones with lots of greenery and less colorful florals but hey–-flowers are expensive so I’m all for the eucalyptus bouquets. Newly engaged and upcoming Christmas fiancées take note!
