On Friday I went to check out the Olsen Twins Hiding from the Paparazzi exhibit by THNK1994. It was awesome. So awesome I wished I had gone to the opening night.
The paintings were done by Laura Collins, who can’t tell the Olsen twins apart, especially when they’re covering their faces from the paparazzi, so none of them mention which twin is being depicted.
The exhibit had this hilarious little prank called “When a Stranger Calls” where the phone rings randomly with a call from Netflix looking to cast someone as Michelle in Fuller House. It rang when I walked by, and the person near me asked if I wanted to answer so I did.
I accepted the role on a lifelong contract and Netflix was eternally grateful because the three people who’d answered before me said no.
Still waiting for those faxes and emails regarding my contract.

My favorite Olsen twin painting was the one where Mary-Kate or Ashley is holding a clutch over her face to hide from the paparazzi. Of all the things they hid behind, I thought this was the prettiest.
