As if I needed another reminder as to how old I’m getting, Space Jam turned 20 this week.
How has it been 20 years already?!
In celebration, I’ve selected a piece of fan art I found on DeviantArt of Lola Bunny, the film’s sassiest character (in my opinion).
Called “Take It To the Hole,” Jessie J. Barboza (jbwarner) puts Lola Bunny in an underwater scene for his Underwater Babes of Toontown series. The expression on Lola Bunny’s face in the cartoon definitely makes this an intriguing piece of fan art. Why does she look so unimpressed while making this shot?

Yesterday I started seeing the posters for the new James Bond movie, Spectre, popping up everywhere in the city. I started to think I was going crazy when I saw that Day of the Dead skeleton in the background of the poster art, but by the third poster I came across I was convinced that this was real.
This week’s Fan Art Fridays serves as my escape from this odd poster art. I’m just so used to the sleek, modern look of the James Bond franchise that I had to Google some images from the older movies to feel sane again.
I found this piece of fan art on DeviantArt which I believe is of a scene from the Casino Royale film back in 2006. The embossed fan art features Daniel Craig doing the signature “Bond sleeve cuff tug,” and Caterina Murino to his left in a gorgeous red dress. She kind of looks like Lana Del Rey a bit.
