After God knows how many years of being an unopened restaurant at the tip of Beekman Ave and Brodway in Sleepy Hollow, NY, Ganso opened this month!
I think it’s pretty crazy that they chose to open mid-October because they are going to get SLAMMED by all the tourists who are tired ofwaiting in line at other places further down the block. But maybe they’re ready 🤷🏽♀️
Me and my husband went for an impromptu date night on a Monday when we found out the restaurant had finally opened. We ordered sake, bao buns and ramen. All was delish. They didn’t have dessert available yet since they had just opened so I am definitely going to try to go back before it gets too cold out so we can dine outdoors.
They wrapped my ramen up to go with so much care after the meal! It held up really well for my lunch at work the next day.
I definitely recommend Ganso for those visiting for the autumn season. It might not be traditional autumn food but it’s delish and will most likely have less of a line than other places on Beekman Ave.
Here’s the junk journal spread I did after our impromptu date:

The restaurant has gorgeous coquette pink interior design elements and lots of wood on the menus and seating areas which inspired the look of the spread.
