One of my new favorite YouTubers, Liza Koshy, is finally legal today!
I discovered her a few weeks ago after watching Boo! A Madea Halloween. She played Aday Walker in the film, and her performance was so amazing I had to look her up online. I’ve been hooked on her videos ever since!
To celebrate Liza today, I’m featuring this really cool outline I found on Instagram by tweensoutlines. It was created using Liza’s current YouTube icon. If you’d like her to make one of you, head over to instagram.com/tweensoutlines for instructions in the bio!
Show Liza some 21st birthday love over on her YouTube channel. I guarantee you’ll have a good laugh while checking out her videos.
I’m not a huge fan of the t-shirt/sweater dress look myself, but there are some people in the world, one of those people being Charlotte McKinney, who can really rock the look.
The actress and model was spotted leaving OLO Restaurant in Malibu wearing a black sweater dress and white velcro sneakers. She dressed it up a bit with a small silver Yves St. Laurent bag.
Below are the original sneakers (marked with *) and some alternatives to help you copy the look!
1. Urban Outfitters, $59.00
2. Love Culture, $29.95
3. Saks Fifth Avenue, $1,990
4. Kohl’s, $18.oo
5. Shopbop, $198.00*
6. Saks Off Fifth, $54.99
On my way to work over the last few weeks, I’ve had the delight of walking passed Nina Edwards‘ Metropolitan Fashion exhibit in the Garment District’s Space for Public Art.
The exhibit features fashionable women in major cities painted in watercolor. My favorite of the exhibit is “London Calling.”
From Big Ben in the backdrop to the outfit this blondie is wearing, the watercolor oozes with wanderlust vibes. I absolutely love the floral jacket she’s wearing!

Today our favorite grumpy nerd from The Big Bang Theory turned 44!
Jim Parsons is quite a character, both in and off screen. You’ve gotta love it when an actor’s personality shines through his work.
On honor of his birthday, I’ve decided to feature some fan art I found of the actor by rgbcn over on Instagram. The black and white sketch captures Jim Parsons’ pursed lips perfectly.
Happy Birthday, Jim Parsons! Check out more fan art by rgbcn at www.instagram.com/rgbcn.
Was it just me, or did things escalate way too quickly towards the end of last week’s episode of The Catch during ABC’s #TGIT?
I don’t know which is worse―Margot and the blue eyed sniper or Tommy teaming up with Rhys!
As always, Alice Vaughan kept it classy with some gorgeous workplace style in a white and blue printed shift dress paired with blue heels.
She finished the look with a coral colored lip, contrasting well against the blue of her pretty eyes.
Can I raid Alice’s closet before work one day?
See below for some pieces inspired by the look!
1. Make Me Chic, $20.00
2. AliExpress, $11.36
3. Zappos, $95.90
4. Tory Burch, $275.00
So sorry, guys, but I’m really congested and I genuinely feel like crap today. I’ll be back with a new Gallery Mondays next week when I’m (hopefully) better!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
In honor of the Irish holiday, I thought it would be fun to feature some fan art of one of my fave actresses of Irish heritage, Saoirse Ronan!
I loved her so much in the film Brooklyn. A co-worker of mine got to see her in the play The Crucible, which I’m super jelly about.
This piece of fan art is by a fellow WordPress blogger Rizza Maruja. You can check out how she made this amazing polygon portrait of the Irish-American actress here!
“But you were gone for so long and just came back!” they said.
I know, I’m so sorry, but I had a really long day.
See you next week for Wardrobe Wednesdays, I promise!
Since September, the Garment District in NYC has seen a splash of vibrantly colored animals along Broadway between 36th and 41st Streets.
Created by Taiwanese artist Hung Yi, the installation is called Fancy Animal Carnival. It’s very fitting, especially since these animals, which include pandas, camels, and bulls, are decorated so intricately with carnival-like colors.
My favorite of the installation is this bull with a
septum piercing nose ring. He is definitely rocking that ginormous piece of jewelry!
Learn more about Fancy Animal Carnival here, and go check it out before it ends on April 15!
Today I was at work casually listening to the New Music Friday playlist on Spotify when I heard a familiar voice come through my headphones.
The song was “Lost Boys Life” and the artist was Computer Games–a band didn’t know until I Googled them and found out that Darren Criss is one of the members, alongside his brother, Chuck.
Yes. The familiar voice was Darren Criss’. I’m still dumbfounded. I didn’t even know he had a brother!
Anyway, I love the song and the rest of the EP that Computer Games put out this week. In celebration of this discovery, here’s a piece of fan art I found on Pinterest of Darren Criss. I have no clue who created it, but I’m totally digging the sepia feel of it.
Listen to the EP here if you haven’t already!
