As if Aristotle didn’t prove that the Earth is round centuries ago!

Anyway, his stupidity has earned himself a spot on this week’s Fan Art Fridays. This cartoon version of B.o.B was done by Dawn Darko of dragoart.com, a site that gives drawing tutorials.
Maybe someone can take a stab at drawing him with some inch of smartness.
On last week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars titled “Charlotte’s Web,” Hanna Marin (played by Ashley Benson) wore this lovely wide-legged floral trouser with a white sleeveless collared linen blouse.
It made me wish we could just fast forward to spring in the Northeast. Regardless, it’s never too early to start putting together a spring wardrobe!
She paired the look with some light gray boots and bright red lipstick. Later on in the episode she was seen wearing a black blazer.
Unfortunately, all of the original items Hanna is wearing in this episode are sold out. Below are some alternatives.
Back in September 2015, I was walking along 9th Ave in Midtown when I saw this gorgeous goddess outside of Casa di Isacco.
I’d passed by the restaurant a couple of times, but I never realized there was a sculpture sitting in that sidewalk vineyard. The sculpture looks like a depiction of Greek/Roman goddess Hebe/Juventus, but I’m not entirely sure.
Doesn’t this photo make you wish it was still autumn in NYC? Gosh, this snow needs to melt. STAT.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith and Spike Lee’s decision to boycott the Oscar’s this year due to the lack of African-Americans nominated for awards in the past two award shows. The hashtag #OscarsSoWhite is becoming very popular these days.
It still blows my mind that they would chose a host (Chris Rock) of an ethnicity not represented at the show. Like, how does that make any sense?!
In light if this, I can’t wait to hear his opening monologue.
Because of Jada Pinkett Smith’s bold move in making the video about the subject over on Facebook, I decided to dedicate this week’s Fan Art Fridays to her. This sketch was done by Greg Hand, inspired by Pinkett’s character Fish Mooney on Gotham. Her stern lip is just the right amount of fierce.
It’s always entertaining to see how the fashion department on the set of TV Land’s Younger decide to dress 40-year-old Liza Miller (played by Sutton Foster) to have her look as if she were a millennial.
Season 2 of the show premiered last week, and I couldn’t resist featuring some of Liza’s style for this Wardrobe Wednesdays post. I’m particularly fond of this look, because as a fellow millennial in the publishing/editorial world, I sometimes go to work dressed like this.
She wears a very laid back look with a screen tee featuring a pencil-sketched bird, blue boot-cut jeans and a pair of coffee-colored boots. I actually had to watch some of the episode all over again just to catch her footwear!
Liza’s look is professionalized with a black vest/waistcoat, giving her boss no reason to suspect her real age. I mean, come on, what 40-year-old has time to find the perfect screen tee for a waistcoat?
Below are some items similar to what Liza is wearing in the episode.
If you passed by or entered a TD Bank during December 2015, you might have seen these adorable wooden crafted animals sporting the bank’s green accessories.
This little deer was sitting on a ledge at the TD Bank near 9th Ave in Midtown, NYC. He’s got a green striped scarf on with a little TD Bank pin and a snowy pine tree behind him.
The little tiny pieces of wood that were used to make this deer couldn’t have been an easy task to complete. But the finished product is one to gush over.
I just wish they would have kept these little guys around all winter!
This is a huge deal right now because the style of this painting takes after Renoir, an impressionist painter that people seem to hate. I don’t get why. Maybe I need to take an art history course or something, because I actually really like what I’ve seen from Renoir.
The Kardashian and Jenner ladies wore gorgeous Victorian clothing for the painting, complete with fancy hats and a beautiful landscape in the backdrop.
I’d so love Mr. Brainwash to paint me in the spring so I can hang it in my room!
You can’t blame Leonardo DiCaprio for flinching like that at the 73rd Golden Globes on Sunday after seeing Lady Gaga’s ginormous hourglass hips sashay passed him.

I mean, come on—they look like 18th century side hoops turned pillow cushions!
Regardless, Lady Gaga looked stunningly vintage in a black off-the-shoulder dress featuring a sweetheart neckline and train. The dress was custom made for the Lady by Versace.
Her Neil Lane jewels and platinum blonde hair completed the Marilyn Monroe look. The cuff bracelets she wore have a very classy rocker-punk vibe to them.
I love the way she mixed vintage and modern to make this look her own. Below are some items similar to what she wore that Sunday night, and should you dare to recreate the hourglass hips, I suggest an actual pair of side hoops for the occasion.
Now, I’m aware that flowers are the last thing that come to mind when it’s almost the third week into winter in NYC, but we’re making an exception for today’s Gallery Mondays.
I saw “Balloon Flower,” a balloon-shaped, stainless steel sculpture of a flower, while headed to the 9/11 Memorial Museum with a friend in December. Jeff Koons, the same artist behind the blue gazing ball on Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP album cover, created the sculpture.
The sculpture is part of Koons’ collection called Celebration. He has also created the same sculpture in yellow, blue, magenta, and orange. This red one sits in front of BMCC’s Fiterman Hall in the middle of a fountain.
See the blue version of “Balloon Flower” and the rest of the pieces from Celebration over on Jeff Koons’ website.
December 2015 was full of fun, holiday themed pop culture feature articles and videos. There were so many YouTube videos on my favorites list that I had to cut some of them out just to avoid making this post too long!
Here are my favorites in pop culture for the month of December.
3. New Girl season 5 teaser confusion. Because Jess’ broken legs were honestly the only thing I could think about throughout the entire clip.
Favorite Music
1. “Focus” by P’ARIS. This song’s lyrics are just so captivating, especially the first verse. I’m excited to hear what else P’ARIS has in store for us in 2016.
2. “UGH!” by The 1975. Just from this song alone, I can tell I like it when you sleep, for you are so peaceful yet so unaware of it is going to be amazing.
